I’ve had a dream of working with dogs ever since my childhood. I grew up with dogs, participated in 4H as a youth, and always felt a special connection with animals. When I was 11 years old my dad brought home a black lab mix named Dolly that had showed up at his shop one day. I taught her a few tricks, and I was hooked. At 16 years old I began volunteering at the local humane society, and at 18 I began my formal training at Northstate Canine Academy in North Carolina. Since then I’ve attended dozens of other schools, workshops, and seminars to further pursue this passion of mine.
