Rotary Golf Tournament in place of our meeting this Friday.
Our Fifth Annual C.A. Roy & Floyd Walker Memorial Golf Tournament will be held on Friday, April 28, 2017 at Hidden Creek Golf Course!
There will be two flights with shotgun starts at 7:30 am and 1:00 pm with registration beginning at 6:30 am and 11:30 am. A continental breakfast will be provided for the morning flight with lunch served afterwards. We hope to see you there!
BURRO Board Updates:
Brooke reported that the 2nd half of the Ukraine Grant is underway. They are looking for doctors who would be able to make the trip to train the Ukraine’s on using the laparoscopic equipment that will be purchased. Brooke has commitments for an Italian club and several others who have reserved funds for the project and will try to have this project funded as soon as possible.
The Golden Triangle Club has offered to help with the foreign exchange students cost. Brooke will email them and ask for payment.
Dan Taylor reported the District Conference will be May 11-14th at the DFW Marriott in Westlake. There will be a golf tournament on 5/11 at Trophy Club. The keynote speaker will be Dale Hansen at the awards ceremony.
The next BURRO Board meeting will be held at 7:00 a.m. May 10 at Cracker Barrel
