Fellow Rotarians,
Our next live Zoom meeting is tomorrow morning, Aug 21st at 7:00am. We look forward to seeing everyone's smiling faces.
Please keep the Z-man in your prayers. He is recovery from a broken hip and subsequent surgery. He is resting at home using a walker and in good spirits.
Our guest speaker will be Dr. Hallie Sheade, who will share with us the S.T.E.P.S. With Horses program. We are blessed to have her speak to us.
Dr. Hallie Sheade holds a Ph.D in Counseling from the University of North Texas. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S) and Registered Play Therapist Supervisor (RPT-S). Her practice, Equine Connection Counseling, has provided over 6,500 sessions of equine-assisted counseling, specializing in military and at-risk youth clients. STRATEGIC PLANNING: As we move forward through this COVID issue, which we will get past, and develop a plan for the future, I would ask you for your thoughts and wisdom. We are blessed with Rotarians who have many years experience in positions of leadership in committees and major projects. In any attempt to develop a plan, we need to address two questions of introspection. So, from your perspective I would like to get your comments in two areas: 1) What are the Club's Strengths and Weaknesses?; and 2) What are some Opportunities and Challenges we face in our community?
